I moved to Orkney in June 1999. I ran a successful guest house (The Old Custom House) on Hoy, the second largest island.
In October 2000 circumstances forced me to return to Cambridge and for 2 years the Old Custom House was my own holiday home.
I returned to the house in 2002 and began a restoration program on the house. This is currently halted due to lack of funds and also because I am pursuing other activities back in Cambridge.
